I got a job a week after finals.

Been studying waayy too long if you ask me. 19 years can you believe it?!

I've been studying my whole life. I know learning is a life long thing and I doubt I'll ever stop learning. I'm not tired of learning.

I've had enough of pseudo learning.

Maybe it's just me but there's this feeling that I gained little during my 4 years of so called education. I learn a lot but it's not enough. There's a limit to classroom education if you ask me.

I've had the privilege of 6 months industrial training in my 3rd year. The exposure and the experience was so rich that I suddenly realized how poor I was.

I felt like little mermaid again. There's that desire to be part of something out there in the real world. The desire to know and actually knowing what was going on. It was all so exciting. That moment when I was actually learning.

I know it'll be different. It may not even be what I hope for. I'm excited anyway.

Uni life is like cheese cake. It was tasty, fattening, enriching, sweet and sour at the same time.

I've had enough of it though.

I would like something else please.

I went to the lake

I went to the lake to appreciate its natural beauty and to get closer to mother nature. I'm sick of this hectic lifestyle. I want a break. I can't do this anymore. I want to relax. I want to rediscover myself and my purpose in life.

It was a large lake ok.

Everything was just perfect.

I was in a good mood.

Ck so funny la. We were talking a lot of nonsense.

I was telling him how beauticians look so beautiful. Like drop-dead-gorgeous and I was also going wow wow weeeeee over the details of how they are beautiful.

Then he commented that image is important in such industry otherwise people won't have confidence that they can beautify people.

He added that looks also important for marketing people cause otherwise people won't bother them.

So I asked, 'auditor leh?' :p Curious mah how people stereotype auditors.

He said this:

'Auditor must wear smart smart and conservatively. They must also wear those thick glasses to look nerd, then only people believe that this auditor is expert.'

If anyone ask me

what is important in any relationship,

I would say...

room for emotions.


Everyone has emotions. Different emotions at different points of time.

For example, if someone close to me were to passed away, I will be sad. I need at that particular moment, to feel sad. You cannot not feel anything because then you wouldn't be human. It's just a matter of how long or short you get over the sadness.

Or if I expect certain things, and circumstances don't go my way, I would be disappointed. I may well recover from it, but until I do, I would really appreciate if those around me gave me room to feel disappointed, to understand my disappointment, and to let me heal from my disappointment at my own time.


There's no point getting upset with someone for what she/he feels. Feelings are part of who we are. Everyone has a right to feel. Others would just have to be understanding and not breathe down on the person's neck, telling them how they should feel or what they should feel.


Just a thought.
