Durians and Mangosteens One Day

Yesterday, baby, Ah Looi, Ah Ling and me had a durian and mangosteen feast. ^_^

It all started after class yesterday. Two Ah Lings were sick and I, the excellent and compassionate friend drove them to Pusat Kesihatan. Since it was 10.15am and we were so near Bukit Ekspo, I had the most brilliant idea. 'Let's go buy durians and mangosteens!' *bangga*

Hehehe. And so we went. There were Grade A durians selling at RM3.50 per kg, Grade B selling at RM2.50, corns RM4 per packet (8 batang) and some vegetables. We didn't know how to choose durians. -_-! Ahha. So ask the pakcik there lor. The guy shake shake the durian and say 'Ah Moi, ini bagus' Lol. So funny. So in the end bought three durians. Don't know if the durians are cheap. But according to roomie, for KL standard quite cheap wor.

After choosing the durians, another truck came with a loot of mangosteens. Wowwweee! I excitedly grabbed two plastic bags. Hehe. Told baby to give roomie a call to see if she wants some mangosteens as well.

My roommie was in lab. So of course she had additional orders from lab people. In the end, we bought NINE bags of mangosteens at RM5 each. The pakcik terkejut giler. 'Ah Moi, boleh habis ke?'Haha. It was so fun choosing durians and buying lots and lots of mangosteens.

Later at night, we feasted over durians and mangosteen at Ah Ling and Ah Looi's house. The first durian was okay. The colour not so cantik lar. But the other two was beautiful and so sedap.

Saw this HUGE bouquet of roses that Ah Looi's bf(form over substance bf) gave her. SO huge can become umbrella. See baby and and the umbrella flower. Oh and just for comparison, this is a normal bouquet of flowers.

Another shot. So huge

Normal size

At the end of it, we decided to camwhore a bit with the huge knife. Ahha

Why so serious?

The Phenomenon in Malaysia

Received an email that goes:

The Phenomenon of 'Missing' goes like this in Malaysia;

Get Vietnamese workers, dogs missing
Get Bangladesh workers, Malay girls missing
Get Indonesian workers, money missing
Get Indian workers, jewelery missing
Get Chinese workers, husbands missing
Call the police, the evidence goes missing
Call the lawyers, the judge go missing
Call the ministry of transport, the reports go missing
Change the government, funds go missing
Say something against government, you may go missing

I think it sums up the recent drama. Or rather dramas.

Back to School

T.T Huhu.. I'm back at school.

The semester started terribly. It reminded me of a book 'A series of unfortunate events' by Lemony Snicket which tells of 3 orphan siblings and how they are ALWAYS flooded with a series of unfortunate events.

At least I don't have unfortunate happenings all the time. Heh. Reading it makes me feel better. Wakaka. Terrible me. Finding comfort in other people's suffering. ^_^!

My expenses this month gone up so much I think I'm going to faint. So atrocious. Petrol so expensive, toll so expensive and clothes so expensive. Good thing my lovely far-sighted parents increased my allowance this semester. Heehee. Good thing boyfriend pays for meals. Heehee. Good thing I have a lot of clothes. Heeheeheehee.

I remember my project paper title today! Yippee! Here it is:

Quality of Financial Reporting - The Malaysian Perspective

It doesn't sound impressive. And maybe a tit wit boring. Actually very boring lar but I'll make it interesting. *muka serious* I can! I will! I must!

Why must we dwell on boring research? Why can't we work on topics like Women & Auditing, or The Marriageable Age of Auditors, or Audit - A hazard to health? Ain't that more appetizing? And it is related to the course.

Heh. Me and my bimbo ideas.

Here's some pictures of Shaun with different hairstyle but the same pose. My brother leng zhai right. I think it runs in the family. Ehem Ehem.

More pictures......

Lol. It's the same pose cause I made Shaun pose in my room. Keke.

CK's sister just took some wedding pictures. So *sweet* I tell you.

Oh and this is the picture of Yen touching the elephant at Uncle Kian Boon's house. Don't ask me why she touch the elephant.

I found a website of my interest. Everyone should visit.

I shall now drown myself in heaps of journals. I shall be a lovely good student this semester. Not that I'm not a good student previous semesters. ^_^

Wee! Going back this Friday.

Oh brownies, please be beautiful

I will attempt baking brownies tomorrow! It seems DELICIOUS and most importantly easy.

This is how it's suppose to look

Looking back my cookies baking days, it almost always looks like dung.

All the best to me and my brownies. I hope they'll turn out beautiful.

Like me.

Dreadful

I'm dreading the thought of going back to UPM. It's like there's a big fat millstone chained to my leg, weighing me down. Even after 3 years these feelings don't go away. The homesickness begins even before I leave home. What the heck?!

I am drowning into the depths of the sea. Logic right since there's a big fat millstone on my leg. Well, let's hope for beautiful corals and maybe mermaids under the sea. That's if I can breathe underwater or have an oxygen tank.

All nonsensical thoughts. Gah.

At least I'm looking forward to meeting ck, roomie, baby and khom again.
