Banana

The other day we celebrated our parents' 24th wedding anniversary. We went for dinner at ole sayang and accidentally saw a fun fair. Since Ken haven't actually been to a real fun fair, we decided to go to the fun fair. It wasn't very meriah lar. I think the fun fair has been there for a long long time.

We played many things. Actually five. Or six. Threw darts, rolled pingpong balls, shoot corks, threw rings, turned a wheel and caught a duck. Each of us went back with something. The irony of it is... I won a banana. -_-! It's kind of cute but weird. It's a banana stuff toy with eyes and a smile. Hee. Currently, the banana is hanging in my car. I think it actually gives a sense of keceriaan. Haha.

We also played bumper car and go on rides which are scary wei. It's even more exciting than the rides in Genting. One thing I learn. Never go on rides after dinner. Almost puke. Overall, it was fun!

Work was ok. Senior was nice. But I freak out everytime I see him. Maybe I'm afraid of hebat people. At least that's what Hwei said. A thought to ponder upon.

I wonder why I blog. I do write in a journal. So it's actually pretty redundant. First I write in a journal. And then when I'm free I blog. Why the heck do I do what I do? I'm not comfortable with people reading about me and so I write stuff that are pretty safe and general. Hmmmm.. Another thought to ponder upon.

Later song leading for kids CNY dinner. God help me! I'm freaking out now. The kids are monsters. MONSTERS!.........

What A Day

Today was a fruitful day. Went to church in the morning and played piano for worship. It was OK I guess. Better than what I had expected. It's been ages since I last played in church. My hands were stiff and weak. Realize how the piano has become so strange to me. Usually I would be really panicky for Sunday worship. This time round, I felt a little more relax and strangely peaceful. Weird man. It's ok when you don't expect it to be. Mom said I should play the piano more often in church otherwise will karat and waste many many years of investment. Hehe. So I think I will. ^_^

Yen Mei also semangat want play piano. She played for youth yesterday and tersilap practice one song. Sort of tak puas hati lar. She's making it up by playing for youth next Saturday. Sangat sangat bagus!

Today spent a lot of money. T.T Owed Ken a toy for his birthday last November. So went Jusco today and bought him a little Jangofett which cost me RM33.90. On top of that bought contact lenses worth RM180. I absentmindedly threw my last pair into the basin yesterday. -_-! I also bought a hair clip plus 4 scrunchies for RM19++ . Sharks. I feel so poor.

Went swimming in the evening with dad, sis and little Ken. Swam 6 long laps. Under perform due to lack of stamina and semangat. I'll be swimming more often I hope. Got to put in more effort to slim down. Working on it!

Aunty Yu Ming asked me to help out in the Children's Hour CNY dinner next Saturday, to lead the crowd to sing a few CNY songs. I don't know any actually. -_-! but didn't have the heart to say no. So now I would have to sum up all the courage left in me, learn the CNY songs and face the monster kids. The thought of it actually sends chills up and down my spine. They ARE monsters. Sobx. I hope I can learn CNY songs in time.

DMSJ coming up(March 8). Thank God it's election day and the afternoon session canceled. ^_^ God knows we can't manage. (God knows I can't manage.^_^!) We only need to practice songs for the night and the mime. Yup. I hope it'll all go well. Glad I've got plenty of dependable youths to help make things work out fine. ^_^ MGC has the bestest, finest youths!

Ok. I'll go learn CNY songs now.

I'm sick

Almost threw up during breakfast yesterday. I had one cup of tea, one half boiled egg and one piece of bread. Was diagnosing myself and came up with the following.

Reason One. My stomach is merajukking. Due to excessive eating during CNY, the stomach is now in shock and refuses to take food. In a way, once it cools down I'll be back to normal.

Reason Two. There were worms in my stomach. They gobble all the food I eat. So i had to eat more. Now they're all just dead. So I don't have to eat so much anymore.

Reason Three. I'll be having my yearly diarrhea soon. The one where I can't eat anything and vomit water.

I'm hoping its reason one or two. Hee.. Reason three will be BAD. I hope it never ever happen again!

Miss my roomie.. Its been almost 3 months. Hope to see her soon.Miss the shopping, the night talk, her cooking, her laugh, her calling me jing tse shuen. Ya. I miss her.

Ck said I fatter d. :( sobz.... Not in self denial. I am fatter. But coming from him made it hurt a little. Well....... Working on it.

Teardrops on my guitar

Heard the song on the radio one fine day. I thought it was good. No one else agree except for Hwei. Hmmmm..Wonder why? It's a good song. Not fantastic or exceptionally great but pretty pleasant. I couldn't stop singing it for a few days. Hee. Gave up promoting this song after a few tries. I'll just enjoy it all by myself. Yup. That's what I'll do.

So sleepy today lar. And felt like throwing up a little during dinner. I think I'm falling sick. But I don't want to! Will attempt to drink more water to prevent myself from falling sick. It ain't nice falling sick.

Tomorrow's valentine's day. It doesn't feel significant or different. Never really celebrated it before and I guess this year is no exception. Just another day for me. Maybe I'll celebrate Valentine's with Hwei. Celebrate our sisterly love. Wakaka. I bet if I told her the idea she'll do this '-_-'..

My Bestest 3rd day of CNY

Ya. Just like what the title said. My bestest 3rd day of CNY. A few of us visited the old folks home at Bukit Baru. All thanks to YenMei. Her idea and effort. ^_^ Good effort wei. Being there was worth it. Let's do it again. Hee. The old folks were happy. Very happy. It was interesting watching them. Getting a peek of what life is like over there. One popo was especially generous. She offered us asam and loves posing for the camera. Haha. So funny man. Pictures with Hwei. She'll post it on MGC blog sometime soon.

The old folks enjoy visits. I didn't talk to many of the elderly people. *shy* and sometimes awkward. Manage to talked to this white-hair popo. She mumbles alot. Half the time I couldn't catch what she was saying. But as weird as it sounds, there was a connection. Although didn't understand much of what she said, felt really comfortable with her. Maybe 'cos she looks so grandmotherly.

Before we left, realize i forgotten to get her name and age. So went up to the popo and ask for her name and age. She said she don't know. Erm. I also dunno how to react lar. So I said never mind. Told her we were leaving and ask her to take care. She smiled, held my hand and ask to come again. '...Next time stay over...' ^_^ haha.. Didn't know how to react to that also. So just smile and say OK!

Won't forget passing out oranges to them.. Won't forget the gratitude and thankfulness i felt that day. In a way, in giving we receive.. and receive so much more!

Still in CNY mood la. Can't shake it out. Heh. This really is one of the bestest CNY ever.

First Love

One month ago I met this boy, Kiat Siong in youth meeting. It was his second time in youth. He amazes me. He missed the bus to church that day and walked from Klebang to church. Took him one hour. Impressive! As the speaker taught on our faith and we started flipping our Bibles, the boy got interested in the Bible. He went to the back to take a Bible, and started flipping the pages just like the rest of us. Halfway through the message, he asked Shaun how much does a Bible cost and whether he could get it from any bookstore. I've never personally witness someone so enthusiastic about the Bible. Later after the meeting we gave him a copy of the Bible. My parents said this one was reap for harvest. Share the gospel with him! The next day during football game, he asked Hwei if its ok to be a Christian and still pray to idols because his mom would want him to. Stunt, she didn't reply. He changed topic after that. However, the following week after a night meeting, Kiat Siong filled in the feedback form saying he has accepted Christ into his life. He left one comment. 'I love Jesus very much in my life.'

Genuine love for God there. First love. Praise God!
