My Bestest 3rd day of CNY

Ya. Just like what the title said. My bestest 3rd day of CNY. A few of us visited the old folks home at Bukit Baru. All thanks to YenMei. Her idea and effort. ^_^ Good effort wei. Being there was worth it. Let's do it again. Hee. The old folks were happy. Very happy. It was interesting watching them. Getting a peek of what life is like over there. One popo was especially generous. She offered us asam and loves posing for the camera. Haha. So funny man. Pictures with Hwei. She'll post it on MGC blog sometime soon.

The old folks enjoy visits. I didn't talk to many of the elderly people. *shy* and sometimes awkward. Manage to talked to this white-hair popo. She mumbles alot. Half the time I couldn't catch what she was saying. But as weird as it sounds, there was a connection. Although didn't understand much of what she said, felt really comfortable with her. Maybe 'cos she looks so grandmotherly.

Before we left, realize i forgotten to get her name and age. So went up to the popo and ask for her name and age. She said she don't know. Erm. I also dunno how to react lar. So I said never mind. Told her we were leaving and ask her to take care. She smiled, held my hand and ask to come again. '...Next time stay over...' ^_^ haha.. Didn't know how to react to that also. So just smile and say OK!

Won't forget passing out oranges to them.. Won't forget the gratitude and thankfulness i felt that day. In a way, in giving we receive.. and receive so much more!

Still in CNY mood la. Can't shake it out. Heh. This really is one of the bestest CNY ever.

First Love

One month ago I met this boy, Kiat Siong in youth meeting. It was his second time in youth. He amazes me. He missed the bus to church that day and walked from Klebang to church. Took him one hour. Impressive! As the speaker taught on our faith and we started flipping our Bibles, the boy got interested in the Bible. He went to the back to take a Bible, and started flipping the pages just like the rest of us. Halfway through the message, he asked Shaun how much does a Bible cost and whether he could get it from any bookstore. I've never personally witness someone so enthusiastic about the Bible. Later after the meeting we gave him a copy of the Bible. My parents said this one was reap for harvest. Share the gospel with him! The next day during football game, he asked Hwei if its ok to be a Christian and still pray to idols because his mom would want him to. Stunt, she didn't reply. He changed topic after that. However, the following week after a night meeting, Kiat Siong filled in the feedback form saying he has accepted Christ into his life. He left one comment. 'I love Jesus very much in my life.'

Genuine love for God there. First love. Praise God!

Today

Yesterday I helped took care of kids in Children's Hour. I bonded with Michelle and Sara! I think it was quite an achievement. Hee. Manage to get Sara interested in pictures and Michelle to color and draw. Even bonded with the screaming girls. They told me a secret. Hee. Not telling anyone. Realize how monster kids still have some sort of innocence. Tiny winy bit of it but yup. Still there. Hope they turn out to be innocent, beautiful, charming girls. Like me. ^_^.. eheh.

DMSJ quiz coming up pretty soon. Don't know for sure if the youth will be prepared enough by March. Trying to figure out ways to make it interesting to them. Studying Judges is not easy. So much to read and so little time. Did devotional study today for chapters 8-12. Wonder if it's a good approach.

Tonight there'll be pot bless in church in honor of the RBS team. A bunch of kids from all over Malaysia. Food brings people together. The Malaysian culture. Makan makan makan saja.

Dumb blond

I feel like a dumb blond. Its one of those days u can't get things done. One of those days your mind's not working. One of those days you simply cannot function. Today is one of those days. And i feel like a dumb blond. Slept way, WAY pass my bedtime yesterday. Felt like a zombie today. Definitely felt like a dumb blond. I'm sleeping early today as compensation. Heh. Yup. No more dumb blondishness tomorrow!

Senior says there's nothing left for us to do. Got to go back office tomorrow. Haiz.. I hate being in the office. What to do.. What to do.. That's all i tink when i'm in the office. Such a waste of time.

Oh well. Maybe it won't be that bad. Maybe not. Whatever.

To the hospital

Visited Aunty Kim Neo 2 days ago. Gosh. She looked so thin! Cancer is such a terrible thing. Scary. She's still herself though. Cheerful. Not what i expected. If i were in her shoes, i don't tink i can still be so cheerful. Something to admire. People(especially girls) always want to be thinner and slimmer. Thinner is always better, healthier.. After seeing Aunty KN.. it kinda changes that perspective. I'm grateful i have fats. ^_^! that sounds weird.... Neways...The ability to gain weight is itself a privillege. Yup. That's how i felt two days ago. Mayb i'll change that perspective later after i watch E-news. Mayb not.

Stock take

Today was my first stock take! tiring boy. hee.. even cheated the workers there to tink it was not my first time.. keke.. pretend to be pro.. but actually dumb dumb de.. Professional actor..-_-! not too bad. learned alot from senior.. Some people so good in what they do.. and so sharp in picking up things! i have alot to learn.. I learn that there is so much to learn.


As it was the first day.. i tink its pretty fun lar.. tho at the end my legs felt like breaking! Come to tink of it, it ended well. Cos senior let me drive her Vios.. wahaha.. syiok kau kau.. Love driving.. always had. always will.

Might bring ken out tonite. Might.

Working !

I started work. One word to describe it. Different.

Different experience each week. Different sorts of people. Different lifestyle. Different eating habits. Different ways of doing things. A pretty different me.

Still too soon to tell whether it's bad or good. :p after all it's only been 3 weeks.. heh..

One thing's for sure. I learn. ^_^

So much more to learn and so much more to do.

Thank God no outstation jobs during Christmas week. Can enjoy sepuas-puasnya.. wahaha..
